The Bierkeller party band with the Oompah theme have been resident at The Bristol Bierkeller for well over 12 years.
The show starts with lots of audience participation with German marches and songs and toasts’. Throughout the evening they cover well known sing-a-long medleys Pop and Rock songs which everyone joins in dancing and singing.
They also engage the audience with games and competitions. It\’s a very lively show.

Statuesque’s human statues are a wonderful way to enhance any event and create a stir – as well as being beautiful to look at, the way they come to life is extremely surprising, delightful and memorable! As a way of creating a buzz at promotions and product launches they are unbeatable.
Statuesque was founded in 1997 by professional dancer Cate Brick and since then have been providing fantastic living statues to all kinds of events worldwide; big and small, private and corporate.
As well as performing herself, Cate has a team of highly skilled performers, so can provide up to 10 human statues for your event. All the performers on the team at Statuesque are trained dancers, actors and mime artists of the highest calibre, and have full Public Liability insurance, so you can rest assured that their performances will be highly entertaining and delivered with the utmost professionalism.
Statuesque has many characters available including classical Greek or Roman, mermaids, angels, cupids, gargoyles, mannequins – in fact far too many to list… Statues can also be tailor-made to fit a theme of your choice.
Statuesque has provided living statues for clients such as BMW, Microsoft, Marks & Spencer, BT, Guinness, Cartier, Samsung and Rolls Royce to name but a few, has performed at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, and also appeared as a golden Greek statue in the Kaiser Chief’s video for the hit single “The Modern Way” and on ITV’s “Loose Women”.
Bournemouth based celtic band, specialising in traditional Irish music , ceilidhs and general good craic! We perform a good selection of traditional and contemporary Irish music – tunes to dance to and songs to sing along with. If you don’t know the dances, there caller will teach you. If you don’t know the songs, just tap your feet and clap your hands!
Gill and Richard are lead (or tune) players on fiddle and accordion and they lead the line extremely well. Both strong players they come together beautifully for rich melodies and harmonies. They are underpinned by Noeleen and Alex on guitar and Bass, who provide a full and driving rhythm to keep the whole together.
With Richard and Noeleen you also get two great vocalists, so the band perform traditional songs between dances giving an added dimension to the evening.
Available as 5 piece with a separate caller or, as as a four piece with Noeleen calling, this is the smallest band size that gives adequate ‘band four the bucks’. Either way it will be a great night with charismatic calling and mellifluous music and you will have been ‘Murphed’.
Also perform a range of Scottish tunes and songs to complement our Celtic feel.
