Mike Appleton brings you his stunning tribute to Michael Bublé, all the songs, the moves, the look and the voice.
With over a decade of experience performing around the UK, Appleton is known internationally for his stunning tribute show that perfectly honours the Canadian vocal legend that is Michael Bublé. The Michael Bublé Experience was built on Appleton’s love for swing music and his musical heroes which include Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.
Fast becoming one of the most recognisable Michael Bublé tribute bands Appleton has been featured in the UK Cabaret Magazine where reviewer Mark Ritchie described Appleton’s performance as “impressive stuff, captures the essence and understated strains of the Bublé vocal delivery”. He has also gained recognition at the National Tribute Showcase where he was named Experts Choice.
In May 2019 Appleton had the honour of performing alongside the real Michael Bublé to a sell out crowd at the O2 arena this was as a result of Michael Bublé and his band spotting Appleton in the crowd and inviting him up on stage. On stage they took it in turns singing the chorus of one of Michael Bublés songs and ever since Appleton regularly has his Instagram liked by Michael Bublé himself and his band members.
Appleton takes immense pride in being the best tribute act out there and perfectly replicates Bublé including his style changes, shoes, haircuts, suits and even equipment which only emphasises the professionalism of Appleton. Voted best male vocalist at the National Entertainment Awards, Jason Allen is fast becoming one of the finest and most talked about singers in the UK. His debut single “I Close My Eyes” reached No1 in the ITunes Jazz Chart.
Jason performs a tribute to the music of Michael Buble & the American Songbook featuring songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and many more.
Previous clients include The Playboy Club London, Warner Hotel Group, The Savoy Hotel, The Dorchester Hotel, The Casino at the Empire Leicester Square and Pizza Express Jazz Clubs.
Jason is available solo with high quality backing tracks or live options from pianist through to 8 piece band.
Jason started his career in 1999 when he enrolled at the Academy Drama School, London. Since then, he has worked professionally as a singer and actor in various musical theatre productions including, A Slice of Saturday Night, Jesus Christ Superstar & Disco Inferno. He has appeared in BBCs Eastenders and Come Fly with Me.
In 2016, Jason played DC Paul Donnell in the Explosive Docu/Drama “The Investigator” on ITV and “Matthew Flinders in the Short Film “The Lost World of Joseph Banks”.
Jason’s other film credits include the Feature Films Uncut and Ugly Beautiful (Greenacre Films) and winner of best UK Feature at the Raindance Film Festival, Exhibit A (Bigger Pictures) which has also been nominated for 3 BIFAs (British Independent Film Awards). He has appeared in numerous short films including The Date and Pocket to name a few.
