    ABBA Tribute Band

    Established now for over ten years, Abba’s angels (Planet Abba) continues to be the UK’s leading Abba tribute band.
    Their professionally choreographed stage show, with many costume changes, faithfully encapsulates the sights and sounds of this legendary Swedish band and their endless stream of unforgettable hits.

    Planet Abba is the official holograms of ABBA WORLD, which premiered in Earls Court London, before touring across the world. This internationally acclaimed band has performed worldwide, including Jagger club in St. Petersberg – Russia, where they had the pleasure of performing alongside Joe Lynn Turner – lead singer from Rainbow and Deep Purple. They were requested to play in Madrid for Cartier and have also been guests of honour in Bangalore – India, where they performed for thousands at the launch of a new radio station. Their popularity swept across Spain, as they played at many fiestas throughout the country. Planet Abba also put their mark on Qube, in Doha – Qatar, and recently they were sought out and personally requested by Sharleen Spiteri, lead singer from rock band Texas, to perform at her wedding.

    Gaining a renowned reputation, Planet Abba provided the entertainment at The Highland Games and have performed sell-out shows in theatres up and down the country. Returning to venues time and again due to high demand, they have had the pleasure of working alongside names such as Chesney Hawkes, Slade, Mudd, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Joe Lynn Turner from Rainbow and Deep Purple, The Real Thing, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, The Four Tops, Alvin Stardust and Shawaddywaddy.

    Planet Abba was featured on BBC 2’s documentary ‘Pay off your Mortgage’ and were pre-match entertainment for Leeds Rhinos, which also went out live on SKY TV.
    Their professionalism and sheer enthusiasm both on and off stage, has secured them a reputation beyond reproach.

    ABBA Tribute Act – Available as a duo or as a full 4 piece band for the ultimate ABBA experience.

     

    Kelly Harvey and Emma Jarrett are based in Swindon and have many years experience entertaining crowds. The girls are now joined by Roger Mapstead on Keyboards and Dave Mapleston on Guitar if you require the Full 4 piece experience. Whichever option you chose you are guaranteed a night to remember.

     

    The Abbaholics cover most of the south west playing in pubs, clubs and holiday parks, the Abbaholics are also perfect to book for private functions such as weddings, parties etc. They have all the up to date PA system and their own sound engineer including lights and a full UV backdrop.

    vf Vanity Fare are one of the hardest working sixties/seventies bands on the circuit today.

    Worldwide hits including..“Early In The Morning, Hitching A Ride , I live For The Sun & Better By Far have clocked up over five million sales earning them two gold discs.

    Vanity Fare are as busy today as ever. In recent years being the mainstay of major UK package shows such as the “Solid Silver Sixties Show”, “Oh Boy its’ The Non Stop Sixties show “and “Rock Around The Sixties” shows.

    Artists they have recently toured with and have backed include… PJ Proby, Chris Farlowe, Dave Berry, Peter Sarstedt, Brian Poole, Mike DiAbo, Mike Pender ,Wayne Fontana,Peter Noone, Chris Montez, Brian Hyland,Lonnie Donegan Jnr. and Jeff Christie.

    Apart from having a fantasic show in their own right performing all their hits plus new original material & their own take on songs of the great 60s’ groups who inspired them such as the Byrds, the Beach Boys and all the great vocal harmony groups coming out of the States in the 60s’..
