    Guitar – Vocalist

    David is a Musician and Music Teacher based in the Bournemouth area. He currently performs with Sunstroke who are a cover’s band for all occasions performing classic songs from the 1950’s up to the present.

    As well as performing with Sunstroke, David performs as a soloist, which is ideal for smaller venues or places where a band is not suitable.

    David teaches Acoustic, Electric and Classical guitar at Clayesmore independent school and Talbot Heath girls school and also a number of schools in the Bournemouth / Poole area. He is also available for private musical instrument tuition. David has a varied background in education, teaching students from primary schools, secondary schools and post 16 students as well as adults. He has also been a lecturer, delivering modules for BTEC Level 2 and 3 Music Technology courses.

    David graduated from the University of Sheffield where he studied on the BA Hons Creative Music Technology course.

    Previously David was a member of ‘Looking Through Glass’. He has written and recorded an EP and album both of which are on Spotify and Itunes.

    Sunstroke

    Sunstroke perform classic songs from the 50s to the present. “From the Beatles to the Black Keys, Elvis to Ed Sheeran, we’ve got it covered”

    Based in Poole, Dorset – will travel up to 60 mile radius

    Reflections Duo

    Jenny and Phil met in May 1995 as already established artistes and formed a cabaret duo originally for the nation-wide Courage/John Smiths promotion shows primarily in Social Clubs. They went on to perform in Social Clubs, Holiday Centres, Hotels in the South of England and, later, Theatres as “Carpentones” with a tribute to The Carpenters which received very favourable reports by the late Christopher Day in The Stage periodical.

    As well as entertaining audiences with favourites from the 60s, 70s and 80s they created a variety show “Tribute To The Stars” which has been very popular in many venues both in the UK and, later for five years, the Costa Blanca, Spain. They left the Costa Blanca with the arrival of Covid 19 and temporarily relocated to South Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire and have been performing in Social Clubs etc. in Yorkshire/ Nottinghamshire for the last four years. They sold their house in Spain and have now relocated back to the familiar surroundings of the Hampshire area to rejoin their family.

    They are a Vocal/Instrumental/Harmony Duo with up to date equipment including modern PA system, lighting etc.and are happy to provide an full evening’s entertainment with music for easy listening, cabaret, dancing as required. Also available would be a “Triple Tribute Show” featuring a Carpenters Tribute plus a Neil Diamond and Cliff Richard Tribute.
